About Spay Neuter Initiative Program

Spay Neuter Initiative Program (SNIP) is a 501-c3 non-profit that was founded in 2020. SNIP’s mission is to improve the quality of life and reduce euthanasia of unwanted animals through affordable spay neuter and wellness care to cats and dogs. SNIP accomplished this mission by working with rescue groups, shelters, owners and Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills to provide subsidies to reduce the cost of obtaining spay/neuter services and wellness care. SNIP’s 501-c3 status also allows them to apply for grants to make certain vaccines free, to fund TNVR programs for feral cats and to either reduce or totally cover spay/neuter surgeries.
