The Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills (SNVC) of Fayetteville, NC, works closely with shelters, rescue groups, and private practices in the area to help ensure that no animal goes without veterinary care, no matter what the owners’ finances are. The work is incredibly rewarding, and our clients are so grateful that we are available to help.
SNVC is located in Fayetteville, NC, about one hour south of Raleigh, and has been open since the end of 2007. In 2021 we relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art building and expanded our services with the move. We offer spay/ neuter and wellness services through our stationary clinic and have a mobile surgery unit to offer additional surgery services and vaccination clinics.

The Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time or relief veterinarian to join our veterinary team. The Veterinary Surgeon would be responsible for a full surgical load of between 30-40 animals a day. Training is available.

The Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills has recently expanded and is in the process of increasing services offered to include preventative veterinary care, dental, heartworm treatments, and pre-anesthetic bloodwork, in addition to spay/ neuter surgeries. Due to the expansion, SNVC is looking to hire additional staff to meet the increased demands. The Registered Technician would be in charge of training new staff, overseeing the wellness program, and assisting Veterinarians in surgery both at the stationary clinic and on the mobile surgery unit. Candidates must work well with others, be hard-working, detail-oriented, and have strong leadership skills. You should enjoy a fast-paced environment. The technician will assist with vaccination clinics, wellness visits, in-house diagnostics, patient triage, surgical prep, anesthesia, and recovery.

The Spay Neuter Clinic has openings for kennel assistants to help take care of our patients. Applicants must be able to work well with others and be independent. Must be hardworking, detailed oriented, a multi-tasker, and a quick learner. Afternoon-only shifts are available for students interested in Veterinary Medicine or working with animals. Surgery is done from Monday to Thursday ONLY! Responsibilities include: Ensuring a safe and efficient medical process for all patients from check in to discharge, patient monitoring, and recovery, preparing the hospital for the next surgical day, laundry, cage cleaning, instrument cleaning, and surgical pack preparation.
The Spay Neuter Clinic is hiring someone interested in helping to ensure safe, effective, and efficient medical processes from check-in to discharge. Responsibilities to include: answering and returning phone calls, scheduling appointments, taking and processing payments, check-in and check out – explaining daily procedures and post-surgical recommendations, maintaining client data spreadsheets and other databases, entering medical information into Avimark Software, assisting with animals in the treatment and recovery area as needed. Candidates must work well with coworkers and the public, have a positive attitude, be hardworking, mature, easy-going, and flexible. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
