- Spay Shuttle Mobile Surgery Coordinator
The Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills has recently expanded and is increasing services offered to include preventative veterinary care, dentals, heartworm treatments, and preanesthetic bloodwork, in addition to spay/ neuter surgeries. We currently have 3 full-time veterinarians, but due to the continued expansion, SNVC is looking to hire veterinarians to help complete staffing at three surgery sites. The Associate Veterinarians are responsible for performing high-quality spay/ neuter surgical procedures, routine vaccines and other wellness care in a fast-paced setting. They will help run our wellness program on site, assist with offsite vaccination clinics and remote surgery clinics on the mobile unit. Once fully trained, the Associate should be comfortable supervising and training veterinary students and join our hard-working team educating owners.
Part-Time with potential for Full-time if desired opening at our Fayetteville Location
SNVC is looking for an additional part-time or relief veterinarian to help us keep up with the high surgical demand at our Fayetteville location. Based on the veterinarian’s preference, there is the opportunity for the veterinarians to rotate to cover our satellite location in Lumberton, approximately 35 minutes from the main location, assist with vaccine clinics in the area and perform surgeries on the mobile surgery unit which serves Cumberland and surrounding counties. Veterinarians would expected to assist with spay/neuter surgeries, heartworm treatments and other wellness care.
Our current 3 veterinarians are available to assist or train a new grad or someone who does not have HQHVSN experience. If this position sounds interesting but you are not sure you can achieve the surgical volume needed, reach out to us and we are happy to work with you to be more comfortable in solo surgery.
